The report interpreting the results of H2O Chelsea’s 2007 research and monitoring activities is available on our project results webpage.

The Water Census report detailing the responses of Chelsea’s residents to 12 pages of questions regarding well-water consumption and shortages is now available.  Thank you to the 800 residences who participated in this important initiative aimed at learning about how to protect our community’s groundwater resources.

June 2007: The Canadian government has introduced a more stringent radon gas guideline of 200 Bq/m3 .

The H2O Chelsea project won a Federation of Canadian Municipalities Sustainable Community Award. The award was presented during a recognition ceremony at FCM’s 69th Annual Conference and Municipal Expo in Montreal.
